We are living through an exciting time when some preconceived ideas about coaching and athlete development are falling by the wayside. The new way of doing things that is being embraced by educators and governing sports bodies deals with the long-term athlete development model ("LTAD"). This approach is also often referred to as "long-term player development" ("LTPD") in soccer.

We are proud to say that the Grimsby Town SC have been at the front of this evolution and have embraced the new ways of doing things!
